We just adopted a beagle last Saturday, and its the first pet that my family has ever had...dogs are more work than I thought they would be!

We have 3 horses, two dogs, 5 or 6 cats (I lose count) and a white rat. Believe it or not, the rat is a family favorite -- tame, really smart and as sweet as she can be.

wth?
i could never keep animals in my house

i have a pet strawberry cheescake

do you keep it in your belly?

two large dogs and a parakeet.

We have 3 poodles that live inside and an Australian cattle dog that lives outside.

2 dogs, a wheaten terrier and a bichon/mini-poodle mix

12 year old Sister

^ That was hilarious . . .

I have a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier (dog), a gray cat and a ferret all lovingly referred to as "The Menagerie."

Two guinea pigs! I used to have an immortal guppy named Dotty. She outlived the other guppies by 3 years.

a parakeet named Apollo who I sometimes call Phoebus because I'm just that much of a mythology junkie. he's a really sweet bird though.

Many many fish...some stay outside in the pond, some regular guppies that are virtually replaceable, two beta fish.

A parakeet.

And of course, my puppy <3 - she's a pekingnese/poodle mix.

I'm really a cat person, but we have a dog (a whippet named Ariane).

A green slinky.

chinese fire bellied frog named Newton!

I had two birds but our cat ate them and left the heads only. Then the cat ran away. So we got two turtles, one died of old age and the other was accidentally stepped on by my baby cousin - ouch!
Then we had two more birds whose feathers were plucked by the same baby cousin. After that we got tw more turtles, one died of starvation so we set the other one free in what I believe to be her natural habitat.

I don't really have a very good pet-keeping record ;)
