<p>I just got a basset hound and I'm so excited. She is so funny! She looks like she is sleepy and sad all the time! I'll post a picture for you all to see in a little while. </p>
<p>So, what kind of dogs do you guys like or have? What's the best breed?</p>
<p>Well, I always wanted a dog, and a basset hound would've been my first choice. They're sooo cute!! But I ended up getting an African Gray parrot, which is funny too because he talks, but I would have still preferred a dog.</p>
<p>Parrots are sooo cool, too. I would definetely get one but I'm too lazy to clean the cage, LOL!</p>
<p>I'm not much for birds, but I have a cocker spaniel, she's great</p>
<p>I also have a basset hound... let me just warn you, they're INCREDIBLY stubborn. They also steal food from tables and will turn really mean if you try to get it away from them. Also, they bark alot and shed like nothing else.</p>
<p>But you just have to love their fat paws...</p>
<p>Yes, my basset howls ALL THE TIME, and that is including the wee hours of the night. The funny thing is, is that she is so sweet, and would never bite anyone, but she her deep sounding howl would scare any intruder off! </p>
<p>They do shed A LOT!! That's my biggest quirk with bassets. In the summer, piles of hair will just be on the floor.</p>
<p>And my dog is really nice, but she is a roamer. She sniffs everything, and buries all the bones that we give her. </p>
<p>i have a cat that acts that acts like a dog...does that count?</p>
<p>Hoo, your dog is soooo cute!! Its ear are huge, and it looks like its about to fall asleep :)</p>
<p>Sure, why not? Cats do creep me out though. They just are so sneaky.</p>

<p>bytheway his name is simba :) ...not of any breed, just a yellow alley cat...and outside of the house he's this brutal fighter/hunter (eh sometimes he likes to bring us dead "gifts") and yet, he LOVES people...anyone. He'll rub his face on your ankles and just immediately start purring whenever anyone starst petting him...he's never hissed or scratched someone or anythign like that. </p>
<p>he'll make peopel that hate cats love them. the thing is his personality is rare, so he doesn't reflect "your average cat." hehe </p>

<p>I have a jack russell terrier. Her name is Pinky. She wears an outfit bought from the Claire's/Icing(?) with a white fluffly color and glossy pink shirt. I will post a pic as soon as I can. :)</p>
<p>I love Jack russell terriers! They are so hyper, but in a good way. Total opposite of my dog! My aunt has one and they are so funny. And man can those things jump!</p>
<p>I have a Shetland Sheepdog. More commonly known as a "sheltie." Of course, they're not really that commonly known at all. He's soooooo cool and I love him a lot. He has to be one of the cutest dogs I know. He's kind of a jerk, though. :D</p>
<p>I have a Bouvier des Flanders. When ever I tell people about her, they're always like "what? what kind is she?" Almost nobody has heard of her, but she's a great big dog.
I also have a tiny havanese puppy. We got him for Christmas last year and he's about 8 pounds now. I don't usually like little dogs but he is so cute!</p>
