<p>There are all types of students at IC, though the school isn’t very diverse racially or economically. (It’s pretty much all middle class white kids). There are a lot of stoners, but a lot of jocks as well. The school is very accepting of gay students.</p>
<p>The biggest thing is if you don’t party, you won’t make friends at IC, and you will be very, very bored. You can definitely meet people through class or extracurriculars, but unless you drink every weekend, you will feel like an outsider.</p>
<p>Are you a student there?
If you are, what is your major, etc. My daughter is looking at Ithaca for music education, and based upon your analysis, would be quite bored if she attended there.
