Now that the UC admission application deadline has come and gone, Is as curious to see what UC’s so many of the posters on the forum decided to apply to.
To kick it off, our daughter applied at the following UCs:
Merced (her top choice)
Santa Cruz (fall back UC)
Santa Barbara (shoot for the stars UC)

Ranked from top choice
San Diego (love the campus and it’s not too far away from home; UCSD is the top choice of 2 of my best friends and I)
Santa Cruz (love the environment, makes me feel like I’m in Washington)
Davis (possibly become a vet if I go there)
Santa Barbara (love the location but it’s expensive to live there)
Irvine ( my mom works in Irvine so she will probably drop by to visit me often, too often)
Riverside (I have to live at home bc it’s a 15 minute drive from home; I really want a college life!)
UCR (Safety school tbh)
UCSD (Fourth Choice)
UCD (Second Choice)
UCSB (TOP CHOICE)
UCI (Third Choice)
UCLA (idrc for UCLA but my parents forced me to apply…)
UCSC (Fifth Choice)
