FresnoMom, which UC will your son go?

SunnySky

I think he is leaning toward Berkeley. He hasn't received his financial aid package yet but I'm pretty sure it will be similar to the rest of the UCs.

What about you? Funny, both of you applied and were accepted to exactly the same schools and, it appears, with similar scholarships! He didn't get Regents at Davis but was offered the Wakeham $2K and the Fulmor $7K scholarships. I was a Regents Scholar at UCD and did the Integrated Studies program.....excellent program! Congrats on all your accomplishments!

FresnoMom,

Actually it is my daughter. She did not get any financial aids from UCSD, UCLA, or UCB. She plans to work for an MD after college. We don't know which college to attand yet. Not only accedemically, but also having a more balanced life and with good GPA. Any suggestions?

Congratulations to your son.

accepted to all the ones i applied to -
UCB, UCLA (honors), UCSD (scholar), UCSB (honors), UCD, UCI (chp), UCR (regents, honors)

SunnySky, same dilema as your daughter. My son wants to go to med school and we cannot decide between UCSD and Berkeley...We finally decided we would choose UCSD over Davis last night...so now it is down to these two. I also want my son to have an overall great college experience and good academics...

We are going to admit day and maybe that will help us decide...

good luck

frozenropes mom

i got into all the UCs i applied 4/4. UCSD, UCD, UCI, and UCSB. wish i had applied to UCLA (my dream school) and UCB. don't know why i was so intimidated to do that back in november. it's time like this that i believe in fate.

Accepted to UCLA and UCB. That's all the UC's I applied to.

^
awww..the two schools i didn't apply to. which one are you gonna choose? congratz btw :)

Congrats to you too! I'm deciding between Stanford, Harvard, and Jerome Fisher at Penn. Whatever college you choose, I'm sure you will have a wonderful time at.

Accepted to UCB, UCLA, UCD, UCSD!

californiakid: looks like you got yourself in a very hard situation because they are all such great schools! i'll take your place at ucla, haha.

My brother applied to all the UCs, he was accepted into all of them, now he's deciding between UCLA and UCB.

accepted to all... WOOT! UCB (spring), UCLA, UC Davis, UC Irvine (full ride), UCSB, UCSD

I got into the three UCs that I applied to:
UCB (Regents candidate, but had a horrible interview), UCLA (Regents, Honors), UCSD (Regents).
I'd assume I would have gotten into the others had I applied.

accepted to 5/5: ucb, ucla, ucsd, uci (regent's), ucsb (regent's). i'm leaning towards ucsb.

ucb, ucla, ucsd, ucd, ucr, ucsb...

But go Bears!!!
