What was everyone's scores?

Im super nervous about application and I am not sure if my grades and SAT scores will cut it? Will anyone who got in be willing to share what their grades and SATS are? Anyone who didnt?

I got accepted Early Decision with a 4.6 W (23 As, 2 Bs, 4 APs previously, and taking 7 though grades weren’t reported on my ED application) and a 3.9 UW, and submitted my SAT of 1970. SATs pull almost no weight at Wake, so I wouldn’t stress if you have low SATs, Grades will likely start to hurt you if you are outside the top 15%, or the top 20% w/ a major hook. But strong essays, and a strong interview, CAN help make up for weaker grades. But that doesn’t mean your run of the mill C student is getting into Wake. You need a GPA probably in the mostly a occasional B range, with a rigorous course load to get into Wake. But try not to stress, Wake wants students that are good fits, not always the crazy high grades. Try to make yourself seem well rounded and you’ll be fine.

Thanks! i have a 4.2 Weighted out of 5.3. is urs out of 5.3 as well?

If you’re talking about Max GPA, we get a 6.0 for a 96+ in an AP course, 5.0 for 96+ in an honors course, and a 4.0 for a 96+ in a standard course. Per point down in numerical grade, you drop .125 in GPA. And my max possible GPA (due to rigor) would have been a 4.8.

Okay Thanks!

My SATs were a 2230 and my UW GPA was a 3.5 or so, if I remember correctly. Might have been a 3.6.

Regardless of if you think your scores will “cut it”, if you really love Wake, you should absolutely apply. Interviews, essays, etc carry a lot of weight with the school. Best of luck!
