Mine was just this morning, when I walked into school and saw my long-missing and monstrously vital Spanish binder just sitting there to be claimed in the office! I was so happy lol ( <--- what a nerd...)!

So, what was yours? Any special time when ecstasy rushed through your body and satisfied you thoroughly (no weird connotation intended there btw lol)?

If I ever get accepted to my top choice, that would probably be the happiest day of my life. Up until now, whenever they have (insert random show that has been canceled) marathons.

I was especially thoroughly satisfied when I went to London over the summer. It’s what I’d wanted to do for quite awhile, and it didn’t disappoint.

Oh, that would definitely have to be when I went to Bonnaroo. There was one time, after Paul Oakenfold played until 6am, when the sun was just rising, the air was crisp, and people were happily sitting on the ground just enjoying themselves. It was the most at peace I had ever felt.

Lasting image from that great game: Adam Morrison crying sitting on the ground.

Hmm…happiest moment of my life? Patriots win Super Bowl XXXVI in Feb 2002 OR Red Sox win the World Series in 2004. Also, UConn FB beating ND this past year was a pretty thrilling moment in my life, wouldn’t say it was the best though.

One more, when I was younger, I was a pretty avid fan of the Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL). I used to listen to every game on the radio and also go to tons of games (this was until I realized minor league hockey was stupid and I needed an NHL team; Hartford Whalers please?). They won the Calder Cup by beating the Rochester Americans 4-2(?) of the Best of 7 series in either 1999-2000 or 2000-2001. That was a huge moment for me.

^
Adam Morrison is a Laker, now, so I feel somewhat bad for him. He’s hilarious. Whenever Kobe hits a game
winner, he’ll wave a towel around and run in a random direction. He stole a high-five with a player on another team…

I was always happy when I was little. I’ll never be that happy again.

Not to sound like a D-Bag here, but I was really happy when I got my IQ test results back from a doctor. I’m not too happy about it anymore. I don’t even believe it’s important.

Recently? I guess the Lakers winning the NBA championship. Getting a 1950 on my SAT made me pretty happy, as well. Nothing special, but I just didn’t expect to get it as a freshman.

Conducting a piece of music that I had been comissioned (i.e. paid) to write in front of 2,000 people.

Taking random weekends to go to New Hampshire or Vermont with my (now ex-) girlfriend. On a related note one of the more sad moments was her moving away to California for college and us realizing that long distance does not work…

I was at Foxborough Stadium for the infamous “Tuck Rule game.”

Obligitory School related ones: [2 months ago] Solving my first (and still only lol) IMO problem, in the middle of math class I solved it stood up threw my arms in the air and proclaimed “I AM A MATH GOD!” My teacher was not too happy about that but I was so happy I didn’t care.

[9th Grade]: Calling the Calc teacher’s bluff of “If you think you can teach it better then go right ahead.” So I taught the sections on the Taylor and Maclaurin series over the next two classes.

I don’t think that I’ve had one event that I can definitively say was my greatest moment of contentment. I suppose one event was me switching from a public school to a private online school. I was pretty apprehensive about switching, but sometimes risks must be taken in order to receive ideal outcomes.

Haha, my parents were at that game. The week of the first St. Louis Rams game (the regular season one in St. Louis; it was a Sunday/Monday night I remember), I knew they had a chance to pull off an upset on the defending champs (you’ll recall they beat Tennessee in that thriller the year before where ??? got tackled at the one yard line as time expired). They were playing really well. Anyway they lost (I remember listening to the game as I fell asleep and I think it was either Antowain Smith or Kevin Faulk fumbled on the one yard line). Then after that game, they pulled some amazing run off and won like 5 or 6 games in a row (iirc), and I was like: okay, this team is hot enough to win the Super Bowl.

Theeeeeen Brady fumbled, and it was originally ruled a fumble. I was devastated, I remember watching it with my sister who was “babysitting” me. Then miraculously it got overturned, and Adam Vinatieri made a miraculous 45 yarder in the worst conditions I have almost ever seen for a football game. Then overtime, Patriots run this INCREDIBLE drive, almost magical and kick a short (but not gimme in those conditions) FG to win it.

Such a magical season, something I will remember for the rest of my life.

When my marching band won second place (as well as several caption awards) with a lot of top competition. It was the first time in about seven years this happened. I’m a gigantic band geek. My like-minded sister is seven years older than me so it meant a lot. =)
