Not half-bad, I was expecting wayyy worse given Nova’s reputation for poor FA.

ElizaB, you are lucky.
According to my FAFSA, our EFC is also just at $28K a year. Villanova is giving me NOTHING but loans. Count your blessings.

Unless they change their fin aid for me, I won’t be able to go.

swissmiss3, I’m really sorry to hear that. This whole college process - especially financial aid - is so screwy this year. If it makes you feel any better, I probably won’t be going to Nova (for issues unrelated to FA). Maybe they’ll give my grant money to your or something? Just wishful thinking :)

I just found out that my $19,000 grant can only be used for tuition so it is no help for me :frowning: maybe some of you will get it now haha

Thanks, ElizaB and irishabby09. You’re right about how weird things are this year.
My dad is going to call them again to see if they can give him a better explanation than they did yesterday. Maybe they didn’t get something we should have sent???
Sorry that you probably won’t be at Nova next fall, Eliza. Where do you think you will go?

i got nothing. and now i can’t go. GREATTTTT -_-

What were your stats, GPA E/C’s etc. for Nova - were they merit scholarships or other grant in aid?

gummdrops, what was your EFC?

swissmiss3, I just don’t think Nova is the right school for me. It’s a great place though! I hope everything works out for you in the end.
