Another Financial aid question...

So, I got this. My mom called the office, they said it's tenative. When/ How do I know what I get? I cna't make a decision because right now, money is my problem...

Financial Aid Award Fund Status Amount

Fed.Sub Stafford Loan Offered fund $2,625.00

Federal Work-Study Offered fund $2,500.00

Federal Perkins Loan Offered fund $1,500.00

Villanova Grant Offered fund $23,880.00

VU Financing Option Offered fund $15,210.00

Total $45,715.00

Is that VU Financing Offered fund a loan? If so, boy could you have a loans in the end!

I think the $23,880 is just a grant, meaning you don't have to pay it back! That's pretty awesome!! The work-study is going to be a campus job whose money you use for daily expenses, leaving you with a parental contribution of $15, 210, and loans of $4125 for your freshman year..

Good luck with your decision! Villanova is such a great school. Where else are you considering at this point?

Hey ecm, yeah it took me awhile to reply. I definately ended up deciding between BC and Villa, mostly because Villa gave me around 26thousand, versus BC's 23 -- plus location. Villanova seems to have a good package all around. ha. I'm nervous. Thanks for your help!
