I guess this is kind of late considering we find out our scores tomorrow, but what was your essay about? Mine was about the persistent spider who climbed the wall throug single-mindedness, Victor in Frankenstein- that's it- had a decent conclusion

What would you give mine based on what my outline looks like..I wrote on this on the SAT on the 28th

discovery of compass...not only physics, but was invented during the renissance period in which philosolical aspects were implement to individualism
-development of firearms..also physics and also, the technology aspect in understanding war tactics..hydrogen bomb --> nuclear weapons

I had no idea what to put..but I used these examples

The topic about discoveries btw.

For discoveries, I said that the twentieth century was full of scentific achievements made through focused determination on a single subject. Then I talke about the Manhattan Project and Watson and Crick. I had a conclusion, but it really just summarized.

I had the discoveries one.
I talked about Fleming and the semi-accidental discovery of penicillin.
And then I BS'd my way through an example about Sir Isaac Newton.

I felt good about it after I wrote it, but now that I look back it was probably pretty crappy. I'm not expecting a score in the double digits for my essay :/

Does collegeboard have different topics on different tests? Cause mine does't sound anything like you guys!

I wrote about Ben Franklin (about he was not just into science although discovered stuff like lightning) and... Voldemort. Yeah, I wrote about Harry Potter. I honestly could not think of anything else... such a bad essay prompt...

point one: One flew over the cuckoo's nest: chief only focused on himself and his isolation and it got him no where.

point two: the guy who discovered pennicilin (forget his name) wasn't focusing on any one subject at all and just left beakers out, and a discovery came to him.
