My favorite(s) were 2004 and 1999, and my least favorite was 2008.

1905 was pretty good
- special relativity
- photoelectric effect
- birth of ayn rand

1848 was pretty interesting too, but I forget why.
I should also mention 0 because of Jesus. Or was that 1?

Many scholars believe Jesus was actually born in about -4

I enjoyed 2001, though in retrospect it may actually have been a terrible year for me.

Junior year in general. Eternal death for everyone.

lol I thought this thread was gonna ask which year in high school. Oh well. Junior year sucked for me course-load wise and social life wise. I got my first Bs and my boyfriend left me. boohoo...

I was referring to any year in your lifetime.

oh. then 2008 was definitely both my favorite and my least favorite :)

'06-'08 = made of ***an win. Least favorite was probably 2004. Bush re-elected + Sox winning the world series = -___-

And hmmm, my worst year was definitely 2008 without a doubt. Best, beginning of '07 or 2005 I think.

1993, 2003...

Second half of sophomore year.
Never have i felt so lonely and done so poorly in school before that time.
junior year so far is actually really fun :)

2008 was awesome... at least, the first half was.

Worst may have been 2004ish. 2003 maybe. Middle school was dumb.

As for school years: senior year is 100x harder than junior; I dunno why junior year is perceived as the hardest and senior as the easiest. >:[

uh oh... ...

February-May 2008 were the best 4 months of my life.

2006 was an all around crappy year, as were 2002 and 2001. 2009 isn't so amazing so far either.

2005 was the worst year ever.

I can't pick out a "best" though.

2004 was a pretty awesome year for me. I would say that 2006 comes in second.

2007, on the other hand, sucked.

the second half of 2007- first half of 2008 was the worst time of my life ever.
Best is 2003

Worst: the second half of 2005.
Best: either 2006 or 2008.

Uh, in terms of school:

Favorite Year: 2nd half of Freshman year/2nd half of senior year (cheated somewhat but hah)
Least Favorite Year: sophomore year (not due to acadmeics)

Favorite year: 2008, easily. Even though it contained part of junior year and least fun part of senior year, I made significant advances in social skills (although on an absolute scale they still suck), track, and solved by inferiority complex through my SAT and AP test scores. The latter part may be a bit sad, but I'm completely serious; it helped.

Least favorite year: 2003, and perhaps the latter half of 2002. I hated 6th grade. It was unequivocal failure, and the first half of seventh grade was dreary and repetitive.

I think every year has been superior to the previous year since then, with the possible exception of 2005 and 2006.

Liek omigosh we should totally talk about it on the phone. CAN I HAVE YO NUMBA?

No but for real there's no way 2001 can be your favorite year unless you watch Al Jazeera.
