Firstly, my apologies for being inexplicit.

In regards to your chances for admission: you definitely still have a chance. In fact, it sounds like you have a very good chance from what I have heard. No one is perfect, and not taking the absolute most difficult courseload will not put you out of the running.

Indeed, I was happy to hear of my acceptance. I didn't really do anything, though. I just sat there to think and let it sink in for about an hour.

Later, I was actually asked if I cried after reading the letter. I responded that I certainly did not.

David- if I don't get in, I'll probably try to transfer every year until I do.

And, after being on the Brown board for a while, I have a proclamation to make:

Brown is my first choice. It is no longer tied with anything. :)

It feels good to finally say it! LOL.

PS- sorry to my Gtown buddies who are reading this! I still love Georgetown, I just now relaize that I would fit in better at Brown. No hard feelings!

Haha yea I'm sure everyone reacts differently, you never really know until it happens to you I guess. Thanks for the input, I'm trying my hardest to resist putting up an all-out "what are my chances?" post, but it's hard, oh so hard!

Hahaha I'm gald I could be here for your enlightenment. I feel the same way as you...Brown is my #1, and if I knew how to put it in bold, by all means, I would!

And to make things in bold, this is what you do:

start out by puting [ b ] in front of what you want to make bold (but without the spaces), and at the end of the thing you want bold, put / b . There you are!

thanks caladian, i think those are a fitting first 3 words in bold. I am going to be up late tonight becuase I am eatin gall of my valentines day candy.

This seems like the only part of CC where everyone isn't so cut-throat, it's great. it is also amazing how this site attracts so many intelligent kids. I came across it through a google search, but I haven't told *anyone/i else about it.
