I use Opera for general websurfing, Firefox for pages that require cookies, and IE for my school's webpage. I've been using Opera for 4+ years now and have never had a problem.

I've never heard of Opera, what's it like?

I used to use IE, but I just got a mac so I use Safari and sometimes Firefox. Safari has tabbed browsing as well; works for me.

Do you have to download skins for Firefox or does it come with?

safari! and firefox. =)

Me too... Firefox and Safari.

Safari

(mac user)

Safari has tabbed browsing, but i use both Safari and Firefox

Safari...its so simple.

you guys definitely convinced me to get firefox.
i hate spyware ahhhh!!!

tabbed browsing+adblock+flashget+Foxy tunes...

perfect

How do you get skins for Firefox?

And what's Opera?

Go to the Tools menu, then click on Themes. In the window that opens, click on "Get More Themes" link on the bottom right-hand corner.

And Opera's another web browser that I have no idea about.

Internet Explorer. I used to use Firefox and Opera, but neither work well with high contrast. Shamefully, I am back to IE. Please don't throw things; I already do that enough.

Opera has tabbing, in-browser e-mail access, Google search... it's a much smaller, much nicer version of Firefox. The only things that could be construed as problems is that there are ads--but, honestly, they aren't intrusive and I haven't even noticed them in years--and gmail doesn't work in it (yet). Some bits of javascript don't work either.

Regardless of the problems, it is a highly effective browser and I definitely recommend it.

firefox all the way

FIREFOX!

Nobody should ever use IE, unless it's an absolute emergency.

I made a habit of secretly installing firefox on all the school library computers. The librarians uninstalled it by the next week, so I installed it again. Nobody could make them understand it's better. So me and my friends just kept reinstalling firefox whenever they removed it.

I use IE. I know it's not as good, but I'm quite attached to it. Yes, I know only I would get an emotional attachment to a web browser

I highly suggest you become emotionally attached to Firefox instead.

i used to have so much spyware on my ie that i couldnt even open it up anymore. so i just switched to the free msn explorer that the computer already had. i bought webroot spysweeper to get rid of the spyware(which it did...in the most part), but im so used to msn (even tho it sucks-the toolbar is weird) i still use it. i dont get any popups with msn. maybe with my new laptop ill install firefox...

Install it twice, just to be on the safe side.

Firefox is definately the best browser out there right now. Its featureset is amazing and it is infinately better than the buggy, insecure piece of garbage that is IE.
