What Were Your ED Stats??

I am wondering the stats of those admitted this year via ED (either ED1 or 2)?

I've heard it's a big advantage but to what degree, I'm not sure. Anyone out there know the real story?

Thanks.

Definitely boosts your chance.

1350 SAT
3.7 GPA
Good (ish) ECs

Thanks for answering, gwilde -- you had great SATs so no wonder you got in! Son has 1300 (Math/CR), only 530 on Writing though. Do you think he can get in via ED1 and no financial aid needed?

He definitely has a great shot at ED. Like researchmaven said though, he should only apply if he is truly serious about attending GW. After all, ED is binding.

Thanks for your reply to this, and my other, posts. While I realize you're not an admissions officer, I must say your responses regarding your take on my son's chances via ED1 are very encouraging! I agree with being absolutely sure (as sure as any 17 yr. old can be) about ED as it is binding. After having visited approx. 15-20 colleges during the past 6 months, there's something about GW that has captured him. He hasn't articulated exactly what that is, but just knows it's his favorite. Could be the lure of DC, could be the maid service, hasn't quite pinpointed the "Why GW?" Maybe it's like finding "the one" -- when you know, you know!

He definitely wants the business school (finance) so he's going to fill-out the app. over the summer, work on the essay, and get everything filed before Nov.10th and we'll keep our fingers crossed 'til 12/15!
