@PeregrineFlute We can agree to disagree then. I am well aware of how skewed the percentiles are of M2 (and Chinese and Korean), but part of that is that the students who opt to take those tests are a self-selecting group. Additionally, I am of the opinion that AO’s of universities that receive tens of thousands of applications are not sitting on the floor cross-checking scores against percentiles. If a school is going to reject someone, it will not be due to getting a 790 vs. an 800.
I believe Harvard also requires all scores. Taking Math 2 again was not a bad choice because of the skewed percentiles but ugh all the others were not a great idea. Too late now but I’d sure to try to send the least possible to colleges where you are allowed to choose. Like just send the December scores. Most schools just require 2 anyway. Be very cautious about that advisor’s future advice.
