Okay, my dad is not the smartest man around. He sent letters to two schools that I got into asking them to match a scholarship I got at a lesser school. I don't think it will happen, but he didn't even ask me if I felt comfortable with him sending them. I saw these on his desk this morning and they were filled with spelling errors and one of them had the wrong school name on it....will this hurt me in any way with the schools he sent them to?

My gosh, I feel for you. I don?t think they would deny you entrance because of an over-zealous parent. It?s more the over-looming cloud of embarrassment past and to come.

Um, I'd ask him to fix the errors... but my when my sister was going through all this, my mother did write a letter to the school my sister wanted to attend asking them to give more money, though not quite specifically asking them to match a scholarship. They ended up giving her an amount that would allow her to go there.

But yeah, it's lame that your dad didn't even ask you about it. Silly parents.

Well I can't ask him to fix the errors because he already sent them.....and yet he wonders why I tell him I'll take care of all the college stuff....
