Yawn- Lol, well I mean I have the stats and whatnot just like everyone else. But I just have really low self confidence when it comes to these things.

And dashboard, Cornell is Ivy League.

^ Lol, I wasn't referring to you specifically. Just the thread topic in general. ^_^

Lol'd at "if not ivy league, then cornell"

rofl.

cornell doesn't deserve the ivy status, although it rocks at science

If I don't get into Cornell/Brown, I will be really upset since those were the two schools I truly loved. I don't stand a chance at either though, so I will be really upset, then end up going to some random school.

By the way, way to be a prestige whore dashboard.

Quote:
armageddon- Oh wow! Do you mind telling us what school?

Olin college

Cornell definitely deserves the "Ivy League" status, after all it is in the Ivy League. Lots of schools are ranked higher than Ivy Leagues, that doesn't they aren't Ivy League.

Cornell is hardly the lowest ranked school in the Ivy League.
I hear that Harvard is less fun than MIT. Everyone at Harvard tries to get into the MIT parties because Harvard parties are generally lame and Finals Clubs are totally sketch.

I'd be indifferent. Getting into a reach means choosing between that place and my dream school (UCLA).

I wouldn't care that much... It's a "reach," after all. But I would be sad if I didn't get into Rice...

I'll go to one of the other half dozen schools I applied to and get on with life. Will I be disappointed? Of course. But I won't be crying and having suicidal thoughts like I think some of you on here might.

Life isn't going to end if you don't go to Harvard. Realize that, contrary to CC belief, most people don't end up at Harvard. Undergraduate education anywhere in the United States (and nothing against some excellent overseas universities, just that the variety here is just so much greater) is very strong. And a decent state school is a hell of a lot cheaper too.

If I don't get into Harvard, Yale, or Williams, then I'll be sad for a few minutes and then I'll go to MIT. Hooray EA!

oh well, screw them......

I suppose this is where I come in as the big bad arrogant harvard student right? IDK this isn't a trollworthy thread .-.
