What would be the workload/difficulty of this schedule.

As a rising junior, I haven't decided what courses I will be taking next year, but I have developed a general idea. Some guidance would help, knowing the amount of daily work/studying and the stress in the following classes:

-Speech & Debate
-French III
-Honors Physics
-HS Calculus I
-AP Chemistry
-AP English
-AP US History

I know, I know...It all depends on what teacher you have, but still, tell me what you think of these classes. I'm also not sure whether to take AP Calc AB, or HS Calc, an idea of the difference between these two classes would be helpful (If I took HS Calc as a junior, I would take the AP as a senior.) Just know that I'm aiming high - Princeton high.

Thanks!

That’s going to be a very difficult schedule.

Honestly, you might as well go the full yard. There isn’t much of a difference between HS Calculus 1 and AP Calculus AB. You should go for AB in my opinion. This varies from school to school.

At my school, the Calc 1 kids are in the same classes with the AB and BC kids. The AB and Calc 1 kids do most of the same stuff, except obviously, the AB kids work a little bit harder and they prepare for the AP Exam(and the teacher is more leniant on the Calc 1 kids). BC is ALOT more difficult, at our school they reccomend you take AB before.

AP English isn’t tough, in fact, it’s fairly easy. AP U.S History, and AP Chemistry are both very tough though if you have a good teacher. There’s no grade inflation in these classes at my school. :P

Anyway, think things out. What can you MANAGE? Ultimately, your the one going through with the schedule.

Thank you.
I’ll talk to my high school counselor more about this.
