I'm concerned about what score I'll get for the Ethics prompt. I'm a fairly good writer so my style was solid and clear, with a nice intro and conclusion, but I'm concerned about one of my content paragraphs. Here's what mine looked like:

Thesis: Whether ethics pose an obstacle or are in fact necessary depends on the situation.

Body Paragraph 1: In some cases, ethics must be put aside to gain an edge. Example: politics; McCain discarded ethics (arguably) with the whole William Ayers thing.

Body Paragraph 2: In other areas, ethics are actually necessary -- even critical -- to success. Example: newspaper industry. Talked about how my high school paper is running a spread on marijuana use; ethics must be very carefully considered or else problems will surely arise around such a sensitive issue.

So, as you can see, the problems lie with my first body paragraph, for the simple reason that because Obama won, my argument that ethics were discarded in order to gain success is moot.

Given that fundamental flaw in reasoning, what do you think I'll get overall out of 12, assuming again that my grammer/style was far above average?
