if on your fourth sat try you decreased your scores by 70 points math-verbal combined and increase writing by 10 (I don't want to send this)
but then on you sat 2 math IIC retake you increased your score from a 710 to over a 760...would you send your scores???
I already sent my scores everywhere I am applying so it is an option not to send them...im just wondering if its worth it or if it will work against me...
so would you send them?

How high is your best math score on the SAT I? It may make the decision easier for us to know what we would have done.

800 in sat math and 740 in sat 2 math 1c

difference between a 730 and 800 on SAT 1 is only a few questions...

yea i know but thats not my question...
my question is if you would send a high math iic score even though you would also be sending a lower SAT 1 score (4TH TIME!!!)...
thanks

I would probably send them, just because the difference between 710 and 760 on the IIC is many more questions and a bigger percentile jump than 800-730.

ohhh it wasnt 70 points in math...i got a 770 in math...
my previous highest scores were CR680 M800 W710 and the ones i just got back are CR640 M770 W720...
but i get a feeling that you would send them...
if you would like to know my main concern is not that I went down by 70 points, but that I took the sat four times...

OK, my bad. I wasn't really paying attention to your original post. 4 times isn't that bad. I would still send the scores even though you took the SAT 4 times because this last test means that you only missed 1 more math problem and probably 3 more CR problems. IMO the new result of your IIC outweighs the slight drop in score.

GL with the rest of your application process.

ok man thanks a lot. i was stressing out but if its not that bad to have a 4th try i think i will send them...thanks

anyone else have any comments?

buuuuuuump

send em

they dont see how many times you took the SAT unless they look at the score reports within the file.

Most of the time the highest scores are printed on a little master card on the front.

kkk thanks...

There will hardly be any distinction made between those two separate test sessions...each section the score is different by only one or two questions...so if you are scared to send your new scores because of a slight drop in your CR and Math, don't be...

its not really the drop i care about its the fact that it was my fourth time and im scared that it will look like im trying too hard
