what would you do?

Okay, so pretend you're thousands of miles away from home at a huge university. You're not doing so well, but this past quarter (3 quarters per year...should be called trimesters) was good. Overall, your gpa is between 2.5 and 3.0. Slightly closer to that stinking 2.5, though. Also, the university costs more than twice as much as a regular state university (to be specific, SUNY). You're almost certain you'd do better at the SUNY - given that you'd be able to "redo" your whole GPA...though I guess the transcripts will always stay with you.
Would you apply to the SUNY? Would you want to stay at that huge university and well, not to as well as you would have liked, or would you transfer (or attempt to transfer. you've still gotta be accepted) to a less "prestigious" school and maybe do better?

I'm just curious here. Sorry about the 2nd person writing. I'm not really used to that. Thanks!!

Depends on where you are now and the SUNY.

If you're not happy where you are, talk with your parents and transfer out. It's worthless to try and stay there and salvage the GPA imo.
