What would you do??

This is pretty weird, but we're going into the city for a field trip for SHS on wed. this week to just eat for a day off. I'm a veg and most of the food is meat. The only non meat things are like quesidillas which I hate and then french fries, a side salad and a black bean soup. I've never tried that sort of soup, but I put down on the form that I would order the soup and fries. What do I do if I try the soup and find it repulsive?? I don't want to eat something if it's gonna make me vomit, but I don't want to be rude and leave it there full and soup is pretty hard to give to other people, most wouldn't want it.

You could pour it into you pants...

Black bean soup is awesome. But if you don't like it then don't eat it or give it away. I doubt you not eating it is going to insult anyone, it will just make you look slightly wasteful. But I hate when they have set menus. Always makes it difficult for vegs...

Well yes..it does make it difficult. There is only one other veg in the SHS and it turns out black bean soup is her "favorite". Can you describe to what it exactly is and what it tastes like. I sometimes have veg chili (wish they offered that) with beans but only like kidney beans and some red beans. Do black beans taste similar?
