what would you estimate my scores to be?

i just took the may SAT and I think i did as follows:

Math -0

Reading -4

Writing -4 (9 Essay)

Do you think I could get a 2300 with this?

Yeah. It will be like 2290-2320 i think.

hmmmmmm… if that is a 2300, how many questions can i afford to get wrong if my score is to be above 2100?

wow jtop, really? That’s a pretty high estimate… IDK, depends on the curve… -_-

well hopefully jtop’s curve is accurate!

if u calculated the score using the scale in the 07-08 practice test, it’s a 2260.

well now that i think about it…

i wrote 2 pages for my essay and had 3 examples (calculator, fast food tech and the internet)

i ended up saying that tech could negatively affect mental abilities (calculator), social abilities (internet) and physical fitness (fast food). maybe i could get higher than a 9 with that.. what do you guys think?

10?
11?
12!?!

do u go to IMSA

2270 (750 CR, 720 Writing, and 800 Math) based off of January 08’s curve

@Joe_L514 would you mind scoring mine?

Here it’s is worst case scenario:

-5 CR
-1 M
-1 W (9 Essay)

Here it is best case scenario:

-3 CR
-1 M
-1 W (10 essay)

Thanks!

based from Jan:
CR: 730
M: 790
W: 800

best case scenario:
CR: 760
M: 790
W: 800
On a side note, the Jan test had a pretty lenient math curve and harsh CR curve.
If I used Oct’s curve for math then your score would be 780.. but it is 10 points so not that much of a difference. And if I used the Oct. curve to score your CR, your scores would be 760, worst case scenario, and 790, best case. Generally, it seems that curves are helpful in one part of the test but then not as nice towards another section.. judging from like past curves…

@Joe_L514 OMG!!! I hope your right!!! That really made my day! :)

Wow Joe, nice - I hope the CR curves are lenient this year - I’m around 7x so far :frowning: ughh… MAYBE i’ll break a 700 -_-

Joe can you do mine!?

Worst case scenario:
CR -10
M -5
W -3 (Essay 8)

Best case scenario:
CR -6
M -2 (omit 1)
W -0 (Essay 9/10)

using Oct. curve.. (this one has generous CR curve but harsh Math)
Worst:
CR: 680
M: 680
W: 700
Best:
CR: 740
M: 730
W: 800

Dude, you’re awesome!
Agreeing with Quicksandslowly… made my day. :D

Lol Joe Do Mine!

M: -2
W: -3 w/10 essay
C: -6

Edit: oh i see, it is pretty simliar with ^. what would i get if i got -3 WR with 10 essay though?

Wow - Feed, we’re basically the same on that CR - got creamed.

Joe, can you do me? It’s similar:

Worst:
CR: -9
M: -1
W - 3 (Essay 9)

Best:
CR - 5
M - 0
W - 2 (Essay 11/12)

Thanks.

^ I KNOW! And I’m so mad because in March CR was my best… ugh.

M: 750
W: 740
C: 740
Again, this is from the Oct. curve. .May’s CR will probably be the section with the more lenient curve and Oct. has a pretty nice curve for CR so I figured it might be pretty close to May’s curve
