so hard to decide!! cost is a pretty big concern (going to grad school probably too).. what would you pick?
I have 4 other options but they keep kind of fading away more and more every day and these 5 stand out

ahhhhh
ok well a = suny buffalo, b = maryland, c= philadelphia u, d = umass, 3 = wisconsin... and my major would be either landscape architecture or environmental design..

That's the kind of specific program (as long as you stuck with it) that general concensus "prestige" of the school as a whole would be especially meaningless as it related to what you went on to do.

marylands a better fit because I'm from maryland
the cost for tuition would be like 0, 5,000, 10,000, 13,000, 20,000
and I just didnt know if maybe going to one school would be better to get into a top grad school...

Ajr, Madison blows College Park out of the water. You can't even compare. I would live in Madison in a heartbeat. But it is not worth spending an extra $60,000 over 4 years to attend Wisconsin because U of Maryland is a very good university. I would say go to Maryland.

yeah I know madison is better but college park has DC and Baltiomre and stuff near by and I know half of my friends are going to be in college in central maryland/dc so it just seems like a better fit..
I guess it wouldnt make too much sense to choose madison over maryland because they are both comparable and attract many of the same kind of students.. and of course maryland is much cheaper

Maryland. My friend absolutely loves the school and the action all around the place. If it'll be cost effective for you, then I'd say go for it!
