What would you say

is the most important semester(or year if you want to) in HS?

For me it would be 2nd Semester Junior Year.

Soon after that, you start applying to schools generally, am I right?

So for me next year, I especially have to be at the top of my game consistently.

Most important grade-wise? Probably the whole of Junior year.

Well to me I think of all semesters of highschool excluding the senior year are equally important as they are weighted the same. I guess maybe either semester of your Freshman year, if you start out well it is more likely you will end well.

I see. Well, I plan on finishing with a 4.0 unw end of this year, regardless of all the laughter asians give me. Then JR year, I plan on starting out on a fast note.

well your Junior is like a last chance to get your grades up , so Junior Year

2nd semester Jr year. I pwned when it came to grades.

I would say entire junior year and first semester senior year.

entire junior year. That’s like the peak of your high school. Senior year- that when you apply so college don’t know your semester grades. Sophomore/Freshman year - you don’t do as much as junior year.

i agree with everyone who said junior year and the first semester of senior

2nd sem junior and 1st sem senior.
Unless you do EA/ED, then junior year. I applied to MIT EA and they haven’t seen a single one of my senior year grades. If they had, they probably wouldn’t be happy.

even if you are deferred Early Action?
