I've only taken the SAT once so far and I got a 720 in Math, 620 in CR and 600 in Writing. Math is my strongest subject (unfortunate since I want to major in English...) and I want to get prep books more specific to what I need help in. What do you think are the best books for Writing and CR?

I currently own the Blue Book and Maximum SAT by Peter Edwards.

blue book. to practice. nothing else can help

Rocket Review is pretty good.

I heard barron's 2400 has a killer amount of strateiges. I am using Cliff's TOEFL for grammar- it has a very comprehensive review of all and ANY grammar rules/questiosn you will have. But i think my version is like outdated.....

For reading get PR's 11 practice tests b/c it has explanations and its readingsections are slightly harder--- not as hard as barron's, but hard enough to challenge yourself.

Barron's writing workbook.

yeah, barron's 2400 and the bluebook

barrons 2400 is good for STRATEGIES except..i have already bought so many SAT books that i just went to my local borders and jotted everything down..i mean being someone who has like..err 5 sat books :D they pretty much repeat the same thing. for writing: its ALL about kaplans and blue book.. critical reading: barrons cr book is good..this is going to sound dumb but i like how big the font is :D and blue book definitely..i dont like rocket review despite what everyone says i feel like they think im one of those 6th grade nerdy students who studies for the SAT and doesnt know crap.

never use the princeton books. they didnt help me at alll.
