Agreed. I think it’s unfair to make the assumption that most people will have a bad first semester…</p>
<p>@RoxSox: Spring semester was infinitely better for me. I guess some of your luck depends on your school. Most people at my university claim that the college experience doesn’t really start until the second semester of your freshman year.</p>
<p>I wasn’t one of those naturally open people who was enthusiastic about making new friends, and I think that seriously disadvantaged me. Not to mention that I had to take a rhetoric course that zapped the life out of me.</p>
<p>I promise I’m not a pessimist. My second semester more than made up for my less-than-awesome first semester.</p>
<p>I believe some states mandate gasboys too fabricate subsidized jobs if there is little economic activity.</p>
