I have a 3.3 unweighted (it’s not good, I know)
But I also have a 1400 SAT, 31 ACT, am an AP Scholar (award), have gotten fours on multiple exams, and play 2 varsity sports
Will those make up for the GPA?
I got in with a DA into Biochem and Music Performance-BM track with a $2500 scholarship.
STATS: 3.4GPA, only 2 APs (1 AP World History Class (test score 4), and an AP Japanese Test ONLY(test score 5)), a 32 ACT, excellent extracurriculars and Running Start.
Make sure that your essays are on point
You can’t really raise your GPA at this point assuming that you’re a Junior. Use this summer to volunteer or do something that you are passionate about that you can write about (for me, it was concentrating on my instrument and volunteering at the hospital).
The chances are slim, but if you’re in-state you have a bigger chance. UW does holistic admissions so have something to compensate.
Good luck!
