Whats a good Business Major that would benefit me greatly after college?

I'm currently a Senior in High School, so college is just around the corner. i was thinking about Majoring in some type of Business, and minoring in Journalism. but im not sure which business major to do. i thought about doing Health Administration, but would i be stuck working in a hospital environment? or can i work in regular offices too? i also thought about doing business administration, but ive been hearing a lot of bad feedback about it from multiple sources. Please Help!! which business major is most helpful to study in the long run?

Try accounting! Many students who graduate with an accounting degree have a high chance of landing a job right after leaving school. I will warn you, studying accounting isn’t the easiest thing to do and many students find it really challenging (but it’s definitely worth it). On the upside, it’s a lucrative major and it’s enjoyable if you like crunching numbers and making important financial decisions for a company. Also, this degree can pretty much get you any kind of business career. A big misconception about having an accounting degree is that you’re only limited to becoming an accountant once you graduate.

Marketing would probably be a good one to do. It could be applied to many different businesses and different jobs. If not, accounting! There is a lot you can do with business degrees. Whether working in business or just teaching it at a high school or college.

in accounting, would i have to excel in math starting from high school? would you recommend an A-B student in math major in accounting?

is marketing a hard major to study?

At most, accounting is basic algebra. Although it’s all about numbers, it’s usually basic arithmetic.

Marketing is largely more theory and subjective–to me anyway. I guess it just depends on how your mind works.

I’m currently taking Marketing Management, and I would have to agree with WailingConstant. For the most part, it seems like a theory-based major. I do find it interesting though and it isn’t hard at all. I have even considered, though only for a few minutes, about changing my major from finance to marketing.
