What's Happening Where You Live?

We all live in different parts of the US. Some even live in other countries. This is pretty much a thread to talk about stuff that's going on right now "in your neck of the woods" as Al Roker says.

What part of the U.S./planet Earth do you live in?

Besides posting on this site, what are you doing at the moment?

What time is it (since we live in different time zones)?

What's the weather like?

Sure, this thread is stupid, but I've run out of ideas for now. To answer the above questions:

I live in NYC.

I'm eating candy.

It's 10:22 PM.

By NYC standards, it's pretty freaking cold!

I live in southern Texas (Corpus Christi area).

I'm drinking a vanilla malt

It's 9:31 PM

The temp is 44.1 degrees according to my trusty outdoor temperature gauge on my atomic clock...that's pretty cold for down here, but considering that I was in Ohio at the beginning of the week, it feels warm to me.

I live in Baltimore.

I'm watching a movie of an objectionable nature.

It's 10:40 p.m.

The temp is mildly cold, though still below 32 F

I'm in northern Indiana
I just got home from a theatre rehearsal/class and am in an argument with my mother over any envelope or folder she thinks I should have.
everyone here has been freaking out over the snow, schools have been off the last couple days.
I'm leaving for a college visit/scholarship competition tomorrow morning.

Update:

I still live in NYC

It's 10:43

I'm drinking a generic version of coca-cola.

It's still cold.

I live outside of Philly!<3

I'm explaining a calc problem to someone.

It's 10:50 pm.

It's icy.

I live in Orange County! They're filming "Real Housewives in Orange County" just next door

I live in Maui.

It is cold (70) and I am planning on going on a blanket hunt soon.

I am drinking milk.

Wow I live an interesting life...

OH WAIT! I forgot to mention that I can hear my dog scratching itself outside.

^don't complain about boredom, cold or anything. if you do I might have to hunt you down, and force you to live a year here where it's always freezing and boring. (and I can almost always hear my dog scratching).

lol maybe not, but I really wish it were 70 degrees...

Update:

I still live in the Corpus Christi area
I am watching the 10 PM news
It's 10:16 PM
The temp is now down to 42.5

I live in Eastern Texas (in between Dallas and Houston).
I'm going over my Geography notes (I have a test tomorrow) and trying to figure out what anime to watch next, as I just finished all of Bleach that is in existence.
It's 11:23 PM
It's 25.9

I live on Long Island, NY.
I'm not doing anything other than looking at CC. I should be sleeping lol.
It's 1:51 AM. (I have school tommorrow hahahaha)
It's very cold outside, around 19-20 :(.

Live in Berkeley California (right next to San Francisco, I use to live there)
I'm eating ice
it's 11:20

Weather is nice, 60's. and San Francisco's mayor has had an affair with his campaign manager's wife.

In Ruston, LA (North Louisiana)
It snowed tonight...which made me a very happy girl :)
Today was also my last day of classes before Mardi Gras break, so I'll be driving home to East Texas tomorrow morning since my Daddy's birthday is on Sunday :)
It's 2:21am
30 degrees F but feels like 21 degrees F

Look to the left: I swear I really live there. :)

Waiting for a phone call: it's friday night, and I want OUT.

It's 6:09 PM, Feb. 16th.

Somewhat cold and windy, but it ought to be a lot colder and windier this time of year-- blasted global warming!

still in indiana...

waiting to leave on a college visit.

it's 9:24 am.

it's really cold outside, but at least it's not snowing.

I am in the DC Metropolitan area.

I am enjoying my 6-day weekend due to the educational district's infamous overreactions to snowfall. (Uber-procrastination, anyone?)

Obviously it's cold, but people in the area are rich enough to handle huge electric and heating bills.

It is 10:30 in the morning, two days after Valentine's, yet the gifts I've gotten for people won't get to them until Sunday because of the weather.

^Where do you go to school kryptonsa?

I live not too far from kryptonsa considering we both have a 6 day weekend.

I'm going to eat lunch then go to work even though I don't want to go.

It's 11:30 in the morning on Friday and I'm looking at the crappiest 6 day weekend because I will spend more time at work than having fun because I'm not allowed to drive in this bad weather.

Just 195 days or so till I go to college, not that I'm counting down or anything.

Still in the Corpus Christi area

I am enjoying my day off since today is a teacher's workday (yet they didn't let us out of school for the sleet yesterday)

It's 11:42 AM

The temperature is 45.9 and it's sunny out.

I go to Wootton, Venkat89.
