Thoughts? 10 char

SFS-it’s one of the most respected, if not THE most respected, international relations undergrad programs in the country. GC isn’t world renouned (not that I know of atleast). So definitely SFS.

SFS is definitely top in the field. While it may be the “better” of the two (somewhat speaking), it’s also the hardest of all 4 of Georgetown’s schools to get into. Good luck!

Their acceptance rates (18-19%) are essentially the same, as are their average SAT scores (1400-1440). The SFS may have more prestige, but the statistics for its incoming freshmen are hardly different than those admitted to the College.

I was told at orientation that the college has the lowest acceptance rate–I’m sure there’s some self-selection that goes on with the other schools. But the rates are very close if not the same, it really won’t make a difference. That being said everyone (including the people in the program) is way too into the SFS. As far as I can tell it’s unwarranted.

Georgetown College has a lower acceptance rate than the SFS for two reasons. One, more people apply to GC than any of the other schools. Two, it is considered that the applicant pool for SFS is higher quality.
