What’s more important (see the list below) on your junior year?

Take tough courses like APs

Get high GPA and rank

Many club activities

Community services

Take first SAT I and get high score

Take more AP tests and SAT II tests, and get high scores

All are important. So I'd say a little bit of each would be good. 1&2&6 come together. 3&4 can come together. so combine them i suppose? i dunno.

Grades and coursework are the most important because regardless of where you apply, those factors will be considered.

Many colleges don't consider ECs at all.

The top colleges, however, consider everything, and they have an overabundance of applicants with sky high stats. Consequently, if you're aiming for a place like HPYS, then it is paramount to have strong stats and ECs, including junior year and senior year.
