Ok so I was just wondering because my freshmen and sophomore year, I didn't really take it seriously. I got 3.4 GPA 9th grade and 3.5 GPA 10th grade. I strongly believe I would've done A LOT BETTER, and I also would've taken more challenging courses like AP or honors. I didn't realize it till the end of my sophomore year. Well, yes, I don't think I did"that bad" my firsts two years. Now that I am a junior, I am really focusing and taking school seriously :) So far I am getting all A's, well except for one class " Commercial Arts" which isn't even a core class it's an elective and I think my final grade will be a B because I got a c on my mid term :/ this year I am taking 3 honors classes ( us history, algebra 2, and English) I plan on taking some AP next year.

Yes look at Junior year results more than at the other years and your senior year schedule and grades better be on par with junior year (you can be rescinded after admission if you fall to a D so no slacking off).
Of course it varies depending on the schools you’re applying to. if you’re applying to your state flagship they may just look at the combination between SAT/ACT and GPA and look at the rest only if you’re borderline.

Junior year is more important as it will show if you have any upward trend. Freshmen is often omitted by many schools.
