What does that have to do with this thread?

College board states:
"Mathematics Level 1 is a broad survey test intended for students who have taken three years of college-preparatory mathematics, including two years of algebra and one year of geometry."

"Mathematics Level 2 is a broad survey test intended for students who have taken college-preparatory mathematics for more than three years, including two years of algebra, one year of geometry, and elementary functions (precalculus) and/or trigonometry"

I hope that will settle the discussion

But the discussion wasn't really on the material, per se, rather the difficulty/trickiness of the questions :)

This arguement is very speculative.. Who are you trying to impress with your score? A state college? 800 Math II is the best. A fellow CCer? 800 Math I. An Ivy league? Won't be impressed unless its an 800 Math II and an 800 SAT Math.

Pretty much agree with this.

I don't understand why there's even a debate:

Math I is now called Mathematics Level 1, and Math II is now Mathematics Level 2.
Level 2 > Level 1. Case closed.

I would say,
Most: Math II
Middle: SAT Math
Least: Math I

SAT Math and Math I are almost the same, but the SAT is also a test of endurance.
