I missed two EDs (I know I should not because of the financial consideration…)
I just submitted my application to RPI yesterday.
I have 1360 on SAT, 770 on math and 590 on evidence-based reading (I know reading is a pain b/c English is not my first language…)
I also took SAT math II (700), chemistry (730), and physics (690). RPI does not require but I am not sure if they would consider.
I have taken AP calc ab, statistics, and I am taking calc bc, computer science a, and chemistry.
I am an NHS student, participate in FRC, and have decent hours of community service.
I feel my common app essays are pretty solid. All of my supplemental essays are related to robotics. Why Rensselaer I wrote about those great opportunities that they would offer me.
My GPA is around top 10 percentile.
Would regular decision more competitive than the early decision? Would females have more chances getting in?
I applied electrical engineering because this is what I did in my robotics team.
