what's my chance?

Hello
I'm a freshman thinking of transfer after a few months of living in the campus..
my stats are
HS: 3.6~7 GPA (2.98 from freshman yr was not very good)
SAT: R:500 M:760 W:600

College: 15 credits
currently straight 4As and 1A- or b+
member of two clubs(president of one of those two)

I want to transfer into nyu-stern, umich-las, upenn-wharton, and columbia

does it make even sense to apply to penn or columbia with that low sat score? Do I have a shot realistically? and what other schools can I consider?(business or econ..)

thank you

Nope. Your SAT is WAYYYYYYYYYYY too low for Penn and columbia.
stern... you might have a chance.. but if possible (and if you have time), try to raise your SAT score to 2000's... thne you have a VERY good chance.

Where are you right now?

im at uiuc right now..
and stern doesn't allow transfers to take sats again after high school..
and i'm thinking of taking act..

1860 is pretty low, i agree. even i got 1880 and i didn't even apply to ucla or berkeley in my hs senior year.
