Any advice? S has single room in Honors Dorm and was wondering if we should buy a drawer cart or anything else for extra storage. We are not sure of what is in room already aside from desk and chair. (and bed). Also does the shower already have a curtain or door?

D had double but I remember buying shower curtain for D but can’t remember if there was basic liner already there - wtith girls its more about decoration The desk is in two parts - one part like a rolling cabinet with drawer, lockable area and shelf. You can raise up the bed to put more stuff under it - D did not raise hers to full height but high enough to put cabinet part of desk and dresser under it to free up room. We did buy some plastic drawers - a bigger one for stuff, overflow clothes and a smaller one for under sink for toiletries… Also got cube bookcases that they put TV on and used for books and food - again, girls. Really depends of how much you bring but if you have time I would wait until you get here and get his stuff in to see what other organizational things you want - several Walmarts, targets and BB&B in the area. You probably will use at least one set of plastic drawers although if don’t want to loft bed up some, you may prefer underbed storage boxes.

so there is a dresser in the room?

See if this link works. If not, look at usc housing twitter tour for honors (July 24) http://t.co/1W4jsqyPDc
You can see bed raised partially, it can fully loft, under the bed is dresser and cabinet part of desk and table part of desk is beside bed. Room also come with wardrobe that can be slid around with shelves and hanging.
