what's reasonable

Okay... i just did a total 180 on colleges and now I would really like to go to school for neuroscience. Unfortunately, most of those schools are super hard to get into like HYPS and top LAC's. Where would i have the best chance to get into for such a program. I don't want to set my goals incorrectly and i really have NO IDEA...anything would help...I just need a reasonable starting block

I would look at Kenyon. I don’t know how good their neuroscience is but their sciences in general are strong. They are a LAC and have a thriving theater program. Not too far from PA either. And if you change your mind about major again you have options at a LAC.

thanks…i had only kind of heard of kenyon…
i’ll look into that

You have excellent stats! Though no one is guaranteed to get into the Ivies and other top schools, you have a good chance. Don’t be discouraged; apply to the ones that fit you and hope for the best.

Also, in terms of LACs, Wesleyan is another one known to be strong in the sciences.
And in terms of the Ivies, Brown is the only one I’ve ever heard of being strong in neuroscience, but I could be wrong.
