So despite the fact that I've already sent the deposit, I've never actually been to Chicago :)
I'm going for the preview April 11-14, and I would like to know:

what's the best thing I could possibly do with my time in those four days, in your collective opinions?

(If it helps any, I enjoy classical music, theater, night clubs, museums, sensual intercourse, and good Greek food. Especially looking forward to the latter two.)

thoughts?

(I already decided to visit the Oriental Institute and take a dip in Lake Michigan)

cso and the art institute, definitely. if you like museums you'll love the art institute. i would also say chinatown is pretty fun! hmm i dunno how plausible going to see lake michigan would be, but at least you'll see it on lake shore drive.

Millennium Park, Navy Pier, the Hancock Building, the Magnificent Mile (for shopping), Lincoln Park Zoo, all the museums, Cubs & Sox, Michael Jordan statue at the United Center, the neighborhoods (among others, river north, near north, lincoln park, wrigglyville, devon, andersonville, bridgeport, pilson, ukrainian village, UIC neighborhood, greektown, chinatown, little italy [what's left of it] & get an italian beef sandwich at Big Al's on Taylor St.), and at 4 AM visit Lawrence Fisheries at Cermack & Canal for the best fried shrimp you have ever had (open 24/7), and eat stuffed pizza at Giordano's.

michigan avenue (magnificent mile) for shopping, second city, the art institute, the field museum, chicago symphony orchestra, and definantly get some giordanos pizza!

its pretty cold right now and probably won't warm up for your trip so pack warm!
