What's the best way to prepare for the SAT over the summer (share experiences)?

Okay, so my scores on the May SAT are

CR: 690
Math: 610
Writing 690 w/9 essay

I know I need to pull these up a lot for the schools I am applying to, my goal is 2200+. I prepared for the SAT by going through a few tests... I have brought my score up a lot from the PSATs but I couldn't tell a significant increase from my studying. I got a Blue Book and took 4 or so tests in it, I studied Direct Hits vol 1 and 2, and I focused on math in a Gruber book. I studied a moderate amount, but definitely not hardcore.

Now it is summer. My summer is not that busy (I'll have some free time), and I want to get a leg up on the SAT. I especially need to work on my math score, I think the others will come more naturally over the summer.

What is my best route?

practice, practice, and practice. Get the BB and work on all of the practice tests while fixing ur mistakes.

Anymore ideas?

I bought Dr. Chung’s book for math practice, and for CR I’m trying to read as much as possible (decent) literature over the summer, and for writing I’m going to get some practice with scholarships but I might write a few short stories or something… I know it’s a long shot, but I feel that improving my score to 2300+ would be ideal, because I want my score increase to reflect how much harder I have been trying in school lately, so that’s my new goal.

Any opinions on this from someone who has improved their score a lot?
