I think I will be applying to quite a few schools and most of them are on the Common App. So, just wondering, do students who use the Common App have a disadvantage or are their applications treated the same as other students'? Does it vary by school? Any information would be helpful as I am completely clueless at this point. Schools I am considering applying to are UVA, Villanova, Boston University, Fordham, Furman, Trinity, St. Joseph's, Davidson. Thanks!

I’m sure they’re treated the same. Otherwise they probably wouldn’t let the Common App be an option.

They are treated exactly the same. Many schools require you to use the common app.

Agreed. It should be the same. Many schools exclusively take the common app + supplement. The supplement varies from school to school.
