<p>I was pretty sure I had seen the unique applications for schools such as Princeton, JHU, etc. last year. But as I visit their undergrad admissions webpages now, I can only find info regarding the common app, the universal app. and their supplement.
Did the colleges cancel their own applications for the sake of common app or something?
I really wanted to use their own apps for my top choice schools as to show interest and regard tho....</p>

<p>Well now you can’t, and you would have been wasting your time anyway; the common app and school-specific applications are treated equally.</p>
<p>Um… so you mean they seriously don’t have their own apps anymore?
Cuz I think it was “A is for Admissions” or some equally reputed guide that said adcoms are secretly more pleased to see their own applications</p>

<p>They still have their own supplements, but you submit through the common app website, rather than having to use separate online systems for each college.</p>
<p>Thanks. I guess I just need to work extra extra extra hard on my common app essays to improve my chances now.</p>
