EARLY DECISION NOTIFICATIONS.
Do they differ in date by school, assuming it is a private, non-military school?
I am hearing Dec. 13th but I am also hearing the 15th. Please unconfuse me. Grazi.

i'm pretty sure it depends on the school

penn is the earliest I know of. December 10th. Most schools are Dec 15, I've heard some 13ths too.

And you need to know if they're posting online, emailing or using snail mail. If they snail mail on Dec 15, you may not get your letter for a week or more.

dec 10th. ahhhhh...

Actually isn't UVa early decision Nov. 24th?

It definitely differs by school and the way you find out differs also. The school that have online notification though, will send stuff via snail mail too.

Boston University says that all early decisions will be mailed by December 25. That's WAY late. I think it's a nice way to say, don't bug us, you'll get it when we send it.

kinshasa- do you know if BU emails the applicant?

No, I have no idea.

My friend is adamant that BU said applicants will be notified by the 15. Where does it say otherwise?

College websites have this info; www.bu.edu, for example, says in the early decision section that applicants will be notified by the 15th. And they do email the applicant if you provided your email address and registered at the website.
