Whats the hardest SAT seciton for you?

Hardest to Easiest
CR, W, M.

The hardest SAT section? The beginning where you have to fill in your name and address and info into bubbles. I can never keep up with the instructors on that =[

Critical Reading. x[

Math. With some decent prep (I feel as if I didn’t learn every math topic covered in the SAT yet. I took the SAT in tenth grade, and I was in regular math - Geometry), I’m sure my 540 could go to a 650+.

CR looks the toughest. With only 560, it’s not something formulaic like math problems or grammar like the writing section. Your mind has to deduce the right answer with the information provided, and no one can really teach you how, besides a few helpful techniques.

Math! It’s hard to improve your score after you’ve hit a certain plateau. (800 for me)

Seriously though, it’s the essay for me… followed by the CR.

CR was the hardest for which to prepare.

Lol Quix. I don’t wanna say it either.

For some reason, I have no problem with CR at all (750ish), but I freakin’ suck with the WR section (barely 700).

^Yeah, I know exactly how you feel, my WR is barely 820, I’m pretty disappointed…

^ Please, at least you have a problem. I can’t even break 800! Stop complaining!

shiomi, you must be doing excellent with that score.

CR, but kicked a$$ on it for the Jan 28th examination. Practice really does help!!

CR for sure! I have dyslexia, which contributes to the difficulty, but I’ve been trying really hard and doing every technique I’m given, but I my highest is a 560 while my writing and math are usually 700s.

I have a 220 point difference between my math and critical reading scores. I’ve scored in the 99+ percentile on every standardized reading test I’ve taken, but can’t manage above the 60th percentile on math.

M:580/24
CR (and SAT II Lit) :800/36

Critical reading is my easiest section (& highest score), followed by writing, and then math.

At this point, I’m getting high 600’s/low-mid 700’s for CR & W. I do the daily SAT questions, read the CR section instruction of the Blue Book, & I’m working my way thru some vocab.

For math, I’ve done a negligible amount of prep, and I’m solidly in the low end 500s <_<. Math has never been my strong point.

If I figure out how to do math, I’ll probably be really satisfied with my overall score…

Critical Reading. Though I did improve 170 points in it from my first PSAT to the second one. It’s mainly the reading comprehension questions that get me.

At first I was going to say CR…

Then I ended up with a 720 in math. 750 in CR. 790 in writing.

Never underestimate the math section and get all cocky when you do the problems. You will make a ton of reading mistakes/tiny errors. It is supposed to be a section where you can easily get an 800.

Still kicking myself for that 720…

Math is definitely my weakness. CR was fairly easy for me, I got a 750. Whereas in math, I have a 570 :S

Hardest to easiest:

CR, M, W

Hardest to easiest to get an 800 on:

W, CR, M

Hardest to easiest: CR M W
CR, I typically get -1 passage Q per section, and vocab is a crapshoot (missed 4 vocab 2 passages in Jan). Tend to score in the low 700s.
M, I typically get no more than -1 per test, scoring high 700s to 800.
W, I typically miss no more than two MC per test, scoring in the high 700s to 800.

HATE WRITING SO MUCH. CR is actually my fav section
