I'm sure we all have a weak section that we'd like to just magically raise to say, above a 700.

Mine is definitely critical reading - it's always hovering around a 620-650. And it gets kind of frustrating, because CR is kind of one of those things you can't improve in a really short amount of time!

CR for sure. My score on that section of the SAT definitely wasn't terrible [740], but it was lower than the others and I'd hoped I could do better. I think I always overthink the questions.. like "Oh, C could be the answer.. but maybe they really want A instead.." and especially after my AP psych course I was hopelessly lost in trying to psychoanalyze every passage etc etc. Lol.

Math is my worst subject in school, and also on the SAT. It didn't help that my first time taking the SAT was in June, which supposedly had an extremely hard math section, but I'll get better.

CR used to be, but now I think it is extremely easy. Math is giving me more trouble now, I usually score in the upper 700's on practices, but the Math on the June test was much harder than I expected.

CR...i had a 200 pt difference between math. :/
but i am getting better i took another practice test and got a 640. :)
i am determined to do well!

I'm surprised at how many people say CR. I've never had a problem with that section.

For me it is W. I can get a good MC score, but my 7 essay killed me. Hence I am going to retake my 2250 (much as I hate to since I think retaking that score is somewhat petty) because of the 7 :S

Like a lot of you guys, I really overthink on the CR section - but isn't that what you're supposed to do? CRITICALLY ANALYZE = OVERTHING?

I dunno, I'm just hoping that some miracle may happen, because my math is always around a high 600 to mid 700 and writing is always around 750-800, and then there's CR, almost high 500s-very low 600s.

I really think that CR is made out to be harder than it is. The hardest part is not letting your mind convince you of a right answer. The right answer must have proof on the paper. As far as vocab, I never studied a single word list.
