Critical reading, then writing, then math.

UGH!

Critical reading, then writing, then math.

UGH!

I did actually pretty good on CR my first try-- 740
(inb4 I got a 800 people)
Math and writing on the other hand were pretty low, 640 for each. I’d say Math is harder, I never have enough time and there’s always a bunch I have no clue how to do.

CR- on my PSATs I got in the high 600s/low 700s for M and W, but CR- 480. Seriously?

Critical reading, then math, then writing.

Nearly got an 800 in writing, but I barely got a 600 in CR…

CR. Writing is ridiculously easy for me, I can consistently score close to 800 on it.
Critical reading is hovering around the high 600s though, as is Math. Math it’s just a matter of getting the few difficult questions I struggle with down and avoiding dumb mistakes. Critical Reading I just need more and more practice and better techniques.

I took three times, and it is always CR<W<M.
CR is the insurmountable nemesis for me.

Math (630-650)! I never have enough time to go back and check.
CR is always my highest (750ish)…probably because I obsessively read too many books as a child
Still do!

The spelling section.

Sorry I couldn’t resist.

CR. I like that the curve is generally on the nice side for it, but it’s just far too vague for me. Oh, and the vocab. Dear god, the vocab.
Granted, I got a lower score on the writing, but that’s essentially because I didn’t fill both pages with my essay, otherwise probably would’ve jumped 30/40 points. >_>

math for sure…how for God’s sake do you have time to do everything ? some people even have time to check it HOWWWWW??

CR without a doubt >.<

And for the ACT, reading. Again.

Uch, math is for sure the hardest for me. I dread at even thinking about it. I see people conquering it like it is nothing, while I’m struggling to finish all the easy/medium problems under the time limit!

CR/Writing I much prefer. I like writing the best though. CR is alright too, but the CR happens to have some really interesting/cool passages, I’m much more interested!

The essay section is dumb. The grammar part can be annoying. I always found the math to be extremely easy. You don’t need to even know math to solve most of the questions; just let your calculator do all the work. While I don’t read novels or newspapers often, I found the reading section to be intuitive.

W >CR=M for me.

Definitely I would say writing is the hardest. I know that it’s probably easier to improve because you can learn all of the little rules and everything, it just never sticks with me for some reason. It’s always been my lowest score, and I can never really seem to improve it. Math is mostly tricky for me because of the wording, and it seems as if the CR has always been my highest. For example, I just got SAT scores back, and got an 800 on CR, but 760s on the other two.

CR because there’s always too much room to overthink the questions. Also, even as an avid reader, my vocabulary is not as extensive as it probably should be at this point.

I don’t know how the essay section went, but if it didn’t go well, I’m going to say it was because of my embedded sarcasm. I can’t help but poke fun at things.

Math. While I scored in the 94th and 98th percentiles for Critical Reading and Writing respectively, I scored in the 64th percentile for Math. But honestly, I don’t care much about my SAT scores, so while I realize the Math section is undoubtedly the easiest to improve upon, I feel no need to with respect to the colleges I plan on applying to.
