What's the most units you've ever heard of someone taking in one semester?

Just wondering what the unofficial record is and how that person managed it.

I have a friend who is currently taking 25 units. She has been taking 20+ units for the last few semesters because she is graduating a year early. Media studies/Linguistics double major and education minor. She seems to handle it pretty well. I don’t know how, but she does.

not sure how they did it. probably just study most of the time during the week and weekends. but im sure there has been a person who took 23… hm…

22

However, none of the five engineering / CS courses had labs or computer programming; only the social studies course had a (not that big) term project.

Some other semesters with fewer courses and fewer (15-16) units were more work, because some of the courses had lots of computer programming, lab work, and/or large term projects.

James Franco took 62 at UCLA

That’s insane. Maybe i should take more units… ahh I guess I could graduate a year early if I did like 20 units lol

one of my close brainiac friends from HS took 23 units on one semester. she’s a business admin/MEB double major.

ive seen her BearFacts transript and always feel suicidal after, lol.

i think she might be a cyborg*-its a secret, dont tell.

Not exaggerating, not lying.

The most I’ve personally heard of is 21, though one unit was a seminar and eight units were humanities.

29, but they weren’t taking any lab courses.

Currently 23. But that’s the most I’m ever going to take, the next few semesters are 20’s.

@eloriel, why 20s? are you intending to double is unrelated areas / triple major? graduate early? etc?
