What's the point of having a Advanced Regents Diploma?

im a senior.. i jsut took my spanish ap today... i got like 15000 financial aid i kno

What did you get on the SAT? And what did you get on the SAT II tests? I mean, those grades aren't superlative. They are great, but to get 15,000 simoleans in one of the most sought-after colleges today is pretty good, to say the least. And you don't have the ARD. Damn. Either you're lucky, or it's not as hard to get in as I thought.
Just asking, what ethnicity are you?

The regents exams mean nothing. I didn't think about them once in the college process. Granted, I didn't apply to any SUNY schools, but I'm not sure they even look at them there either. Find out if they count in your GPA (they shouldn't unless your teachers use them in lieu of a final exam, as some of mine did). If they don't, take the test whenever it's convenient and you'll get what you get. Trust me, you'll pass. It's impossible to fail those things.

Does your school have to offer Regents in order for you to take them, or do you take them through the state and not through the individual schools?

...or do you take them through the state...
That's the one.
