1) Do most people go out to explore LA on the weekends?
2) Do people have the 'work hard play hard' mentality?
3) Is there racial polarization?
4) Is there socio-economic polarization? (ie. rich boys flaunting their lamborghinis on campus)
5) Do a lot of people have the SoCal surfer look/attitude?

yes to all 5

It shouldn’t matter if most people go explore, you can go with your own friends.

Yes but then again some people are just there to party and have fun.

Asians tend to stick together but other than that I think there is that much.

Possibly although I haven’t seen anyone with a Lamborghini yet. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus…Yes.

A lot? No. Is there a noticeable presence? Yes.

Do the people I mentioned in (5) have an arrogant attitude towards others?

Look, college is not like high school, and it’s certainly not like movies about college. There’s no bully that torments you after class, there’s no clique of popular kids hanging around the stairwells and making fun of geeks, and nobody exactly fits stereotypes.

That surfer looking dude? Yeah, I know one of them, he’s double majoring in astronautical engineering and physics, and helped design a clean water pumping system for a village in Guatemala. And he doesn’t surf.
