I've been on this site all morning, and I've seen mixed reviews about Princeton Review books for the SAT. I get they aren't written by the College Board but the tests are extremely similar. Excuse my naivety, but what's the difference? And does it improve tests scores at all?

I used it briefly to bump up my writing and reading scores, and it helped me improve my writing score by 100 points quickly (most of it was just me reading through the strategies and commonly tested grammar rules that I sort of knew). So I’ll say it is useful for SAT strategies.

As for the practice tests myself, I’m bad at discerning reading/writing sections between CB and other sources, mostly because I’m not an expert in those areas.
